 • Many living organisms form associations in which their feeding activities are closely interrelated.

 • Symbiosis is any close association of two or more organisms of different species. It includes parasitism mutualism and commensalism. Parasitism is an association in which one organism. The parasite, lives on another , the host, deriving benefit from it and causing harm to it. Mutualism (often referred as symbiosis) is an association between two unrelated organisms which is beneficial to both. Commensalism is an association between unrelated organisms, where one partner. The commensal, benefits while the other, the host , is unaffected.
